Fresh Orange Cake
12 oz. cake flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
8 oz. sugar
8 oz. butter
4 eggs
2 Tbs. orange zest
3/4 cup whole milk (more or less to make a stiff but pourable batter)
Glaze:
3/4 cup orange juice
4 oz powdered sugar
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and zest and mix until just blended.
Add flour and salt, mix lightly.
Add milk to form a stiff, pourable batter.
Bake at 350°F in a buttered and floured bundt pan.
Glaze:
Heat oj and sugar to make glaze.
Poke holes in cake with skewer while still warm.
